Halloween

First August dressed up as Captain Kirk from Star Trek, touching down from the Enterprise to visit Steve at the bakery, and his mama dressed as a nurse. Later, Michael and Glori kindly lent us their frog costume that was too big for their lovely Olive (she was a bunny rabbit). Away we went to the Halloween block party up the street, where August was a touch bewildered by so much spookiness, all these kids dressed up in crazy costumes (not to mention his dad in cowboy garb).

Visiting Deron, Laurie and LuLu, what an excellent time which included: a bicycle ride around town and across the Hawthorne Bridge, taking August to the Pearl District Fountain, going to the Rose Garden and its playground (August loved the sand garden), relaxing at Deron and Laurie's. Here it should maybe be noted that August had a mad crush on LuLu.
